Abstract:Objective To analyze the status and influencing factors of double reporting of hepatitis C cases in the “Hepatitis C Prevention and Control Information System” in Xuzhou City from 2018 to 2022, and to explore the possible causes of double reporting. Methods All cases of hepatitis C in Xuzhou from 2018 to 2022 were downloaded from the “Hepatitis C Prevention and Control Information System”, WPS was used for data collation and manual duplicate checking, and SPSS19.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results From 2018 to 2022, a total of 4 184 cases of hepatitis C were included in the analysis in Xuzhou City, and 588 cases were repeatedly reported, with a duplicate reporting rate of 14.05%. The reporting unit was an infectious disease hospital (OR=1.90, 95%CI: 1.50-2.42, P<0.001), and the case classification was chronic (OR=1.67, 95%CI: 1.01-2.75, P=0.045) and the cases aged between 40-50 years (OR=0.18, 95%CI: 0.04-0.75, P=0.019) were associated with duplicate reporting. Conclusions From 2018 to 2022, the re-reporting rate of hepatitis C cases in the “Hepatitis C Prevention and Control Information System” in Xuzhou City is at the middle level of existing reported data, and the repeated reporting rate of infectious disease hospitals is serious. All disease control institutions should promptly carry out intelligent case duplicate checks and delete duplicated cards.
