Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical features of endometrial cancer and analyze the prognostic factors. Methods A retrospective survey was conducted among 89 patients with endometrial cancer who visited the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of a hospital from January 2010 to June 2017. Prognostic factors were analyzed by using univariate/multivariate analyses, and the survival rate was assessed by using the Kaplan-Meier approach. The COX regression model was used to evaluate the independent factors affecting prognosis. Results The survival time of 89 patients was 2-135.6 months, and the average survival time was (57.38±33.51) months. The survival rates of 1, 3, and 5 years after surgery were 96.63%, 84.27%, and 75.28%, respectively. COX regression analysis showed that laparoscopy (HR=1.745, 95%CI: 1.190-2.558, P=0.004), no postoperative adjuvant therapy (HR=1.960, 95%CI: 1.298-2.958, P=0.001), the pathological type being clear cell carcinoma (HR=1.907, 95%CI: 1.542-2.360, P<0.001), the pathological type being serous carcinoma or carcinosarcoma (HR=2.321, 95%CI: 1.897-2.840, P<0.001), FIGO stage Ⅲ (HR=1.779, 95%CI: 1.393-2.271, P<0.001), and FIGO stage Ⅳ (HR=2.828, 95%CI: 2.828, P<0.001) were independent influencing factors on the prognosis of endometrial cancer. Conclusion Surgical method, postoperative adjuvant therapy, pathological type, and FIGO stage are independent factors affecting the postoperative prognosis of patients with endometrial cancer.
