Abstract:Objective To investigate the method of flow analyzer for the determination of anionic synthetic detergents, volatile phenols, and cyanides in drinking water. Methods According to the operation steps of the flow analyzer, the detection of anionic synthetic detergent, volatile phenol, and cyanide in drinking water was carried out. Results The linear relationship of the method was satisfactory in the concentration ranges of anionic synthetic detergent 0.1- 0.8 mg/L, volatile phenol 0.002-0.03 mg/L, and cyanide 0.01- 0.08 mg/L (r>0.999 0). The recovery rates of anionic synthetic detergent, volatile phenol, and cyanide were 92.0%-103.0%, 85.0%-105.0%, 88.0%-105.0%, and the relative standard deviations were 2.59%-3.13%, 5.07%-7.44%, 2.90%-7.11%, respectively. Conclusion The flow analyzer method for the determination of anionic synthetic detergent, volatile phenol, and cyanide in drinking water is simple and fast, which can meet the needs of large quantities of drinking water determination in basic laboratories.
