Ji Chengye (1946 - 2015), PhD supervisor, served successively as a lecturer, associate professor and professor in the Teaching and Research Section of Child and Adolescent Health, Beijing Medical College (now called Peking University). He was once the director of the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of Peking University. He held positions as the director of the Center for Child and Adolescent/School Health of the China CDC; the chairperson of the Child and Adolescent Health Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and the School Health Education Second-level Branch of the China Association of Promotion and Education; the vice chairperson of the Physical Fitness Branch of the Chinese Sports Society. He also served as the chief editor of Chinese Journal of School Health, the deputy chief editor of Chinese School Doctor Journal etc.
