Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of information motivation behavior (IMB) intervention on health behavior and psychology of pregnant women undergoing cesarean section. Methods A total of 84 pregnant women who underwent cesarean section in our hospital from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group received routine postpartum care, while the observation group received IMB intervention on the basis of the control group. The scores of healthy behaviors of the two groups were compared after the intervention, and the scores of self-efficacies , and mental state of the two groups were evaluated before and after the intervention. Results After the intervention, the SRAHP scores (health responsibility, psychological well-being, exercise, nutrition) and total scores of the observation group were (18.75±5.58), (14.41±4.65), (14.85±4.79), (19.98±6.94), and (67.85±17.59) respectively, compared with the control group , the differences were statistically significant (t=3.393, 3.526, 3.340, 3.998, 4.028, all P ≤ 0.001). The results of repeated measurement of ANOVA showed that the changes in symptom management self-efficacy, postpartum rehabilitation common management self-efficacy, and the total average score with time were statistically significant (F time=11.524, 10.857, 7.891, all P<0.001), and the changes of HAMA and HAMD scores with time were statistically significant (F time=7.242, 6.481, both P<0.001). Conclusion The use of IMB in the postpartum care of pregnant women undergoing cesarean section can improve the level of healthy behavior ability and self-efficacy of pregnant women, improve their negative emotions, and promote postpartum recovery.
