Abstract:Objective To explore the value of thrombus elastography (TEG) in the coagulation function of healthy full-term pregnant women. Methods From March 2016 to March 2018, 80 healthy full-term pregnant women were selected as a trial group, and 80 healthy non-pregnant women were selected as a control group. TEG and coagulation examinations were performed on admission in both groups. The plasma prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), thrombin time (TT), fibrinogen (FIB), and the R value, K value, MA value, CI value, and Lyn30 value of TEG were investigated and compared between the two groups. Results The time of PT (9.84±1.36) s, APTT (26.73±2.58) s, and TT (12.25±2.06) s in the trial group was shorter than that in the control group ; FIB (4.69±1.23) g/L in the trial group was higher than that in the control group ; R (4.48±1.37) min, K (1.32±0.31) min, and LY30 (0.29±0.88) %) in the trial group were lower than those in the control group ; MA (67.94±5.58) min, and CI (1.47) in the trial group were significantly higher than those in the control group . Conclusion The coagulation function of healthy full-term pregnant women is significantly different from that of the normal non-pregnant women. TEG under the normal conditions is not suitable for evaluating the coagulation function of women during pregnancy. Therefore, the reference range of TEG during pregnancy should be established, which has a great value for timely prediction, diagnosis, and treatment of abnormal bleeding.
