Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on the negative emotion and complications of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Methods From April 2018 to February 2019, 80 patients undergoing CABG were randomly divided into a control group and a trial group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given the routine nursing; the trial group received the evidence-based nursing. The negative emotions and complications were investigated and compared between the two groups. Results After the nursing, in the trial group, the average self-rating depression scale (SDS) score was (46.55±5.02) points and the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score was (43.58±6.52) points, which were lower than those in the control group . The difference was statistically significant (t=5.427, t=6.934, P<0.001). The complication rate of the trial group was 7.50%, which was lower than that of the control group (27.50%), and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=5.541, P=0.019). Conclusion The evidence-based nursing can reduce the depression and anxiety of patients undergoing CABG, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote the recovery of the patients.
