Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of clinical nursing pathway (CNP) in minimally invasive intervention for children with congenital heart disease (CHD). Methods A total of 60 children with CHD treated in a hospital were numbered according to the order of admission, with odd numbers categorized into a control group (30 cases) while even numbers into an intervention group (30 cases). The control group received the routine nursing measures, and the intervention group received the CNP measures. The pain score, average hospitalization time, expenses, post-operative complication rate, compliance rate, awareness rate of health education, and satisfaction rate of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results The pain score, average hospitalization time, and expenses in the intervention group were (4.11±1.05) points, (5.34±1.62) days, and (3.18±0.22) 104 yuan, which were significantly superior to those in the control group . The incidence of postoperative complications in the intervention group was 20.00%, which was significantly lower than that in control group (50.00%, P<0.05). The compliance rate, awareness rate of health education, and satisfaction rate in intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group . Conclusion The clinical nursing pathway can effectively promote nursing efficiency, reduce hospitalization time, expenses, incidence of complications, and improve the patient satisfaction.
