Abstract:Objective To understand the hemodialysis water and hemodialysis fluid pollution in Xuzhou City, analyze the causes of pollution, and propose a targeted prevention strategy. Methods A microbial monitoring of the hemodialysis water and hemodialysis fluid was carried out in 24 hospitals of Xuzhou Cityfrom 2014 to 2018, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results A total of 258 samples of reverse osmotic water and 900 samples of dialysis fluid were collected and their qualified rates of microbial detection were 89.92% and 82.89% respectively. The qualified rates of microorganism detection in reverse osmotic water and dialysis solution have been growing each year. The qualified rate of proximal reverse osmotic water was higher than that of the distal end (χ2=4.28, P<0.05). The qualified rate of the microbiological detection of dialysate from the entry of the dialysis machine was higher than that of dialysate from the export (χ2=4.63, P<0.05), and the qualified rates of the reverse osmotic water and dialysis fluid in the secondary hospitals were both higher than those in the tertiary hospitals. Conclusion The qualified rate of the hemodialysis water in this area is low, and the hospitals and supervision department should take corresponding measures to further ensure the safety of hemodialysis.
