Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of butylphthalide combined with alteplase on the treatment effect of patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). Methods A total of 86 patients with ACI admitted to our hospital from August 2020 to October 2022 were randomly divided into two groups, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with alteplase, and the observation group was treated with butylphthalide combined with alteplase for 14 days. The clinical efficacy, neurological function, serum inflammatory factor and neuroendocrine factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.35%, which was higher than that in the control group (81.40%), and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.074, P=0.044). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in neurological function, serum inflammatory factors, and neuroendocrine factors between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the score of the National Institutes of Health (USA) Stroke Scale in the observation group was (7.50±1.82) points, and the serum levels of interleukin-6, hypersensitive C-reactive protein, and tumor necrosis factor-α, neuron-specific enolase, myelin basic protein, and S100B protein were (20.22±3.15) pg/mL, (7.33±1.06) mg/L, (150.27±15.08) pg/mL, (8.66±1.75) μg/L, (11.20±2.01) μg/L, and (1.29±0.20) μg/L respectively, which were lower than those in the control group: (10.19±1.73) points, (26.38±4.12) pg/mL, (9.25±1.57) mg/L, (182.03±20.45) pg/mL, (10.52±2.01) μg/L, (15.05±2.16) μg/L, and (1.68±0.23) μg/L, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion Butylphthalide combined with alteplase can enhance the treatment effect, reduce the level of inflammation, improve neuroendocrine factors, and alleviate neurological function damage.
