Abstract:Objective To analyze the influencing factors and the accompanying symptoms, so as provide effective prevention measures for symptom improvement by investigating dysmenorrhea of female college students at school. Methods The dysmenorrhea quality of life scale designed based on the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among female college students randomly selected by cluster sampling. The data were statistically analyzed, and the influencing factors of dysmenorrhea among female college students were analyzed by optimal scale regression. Results A total of 201 questionnaires were obtained. According to the degree of influence from large to small, the influencing factors of dysmenorrhea in female college students were as follows: hereditary, pressure, eating habits, interpersonal relationships, and mental state (P<0.05). The accompanying symptoms of dysmenorrhea included abdominal pain (98.3%), back pain (85.8%), anal pendant (54.6%), headache (43.2%), breast pain (60.8%), and so on. Conclusion The incidence of dysmenorrhea in female college students is relatively high. It is recommended to control living habits, mental health education, and self-conditioning.
