Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of dexmedetomidine combined with remifentanil intravenous anesthesia on hemodynamics and anesthetic quality in breast cancer patients undergoing radical mastectomy. Methods A total of 80 female breast cancer patients treated with radical mastectomy from June 2018 to June 2020 were divided into a control group and an observation group with 40 cases in each group. The control group received remifentanil intravenous anesthesia and the observation group was given dexmedetomidine in the basis of the control group. The hemodynamics and anesthesia quality were compared between the two groups. Results During intubation, the systolic and diastolic blood pressures in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (t=3.952, 3.743, both P<0.001); after the skin incision and extubation, the systolic blood pressure and after the sectioning, the diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (t=5.790, 5.333 3.802, all P<0.001). During intubation and after skin incision, he heart rates in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=5.182, 8.637, both P<0.001). At 1h and 4h after the operation, the Ramsay sedation score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (t=10.459, 5.604, 10.707, 10.044, all P<0.001). Conclusion The intravenous anesthesia of dexmedetomidine combined with remifentanil during radical mastectomy of breast cancer patients is helpful to stabilize hemodynamics and improve the quality of anesthesia.
