Abstract:Objective To analyze the changes in the rationality of the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine injections in a traditional Chinese medicine hospital before and after the intervention of pharmacists, and to evaluate the effect of the intervention. Methods The data of 300 cases (50 cases per month) of TCM injections were retrieved from July to December 2020 (before intervention) by HIS system for retrospective medical order review and analysis. At the beginning of 2021, intervention and rectification measures were formulated and implemented based on the results of the review. After the intervention, the data of 300 cases (50 cases per month) of TCM injections from January to June 2021 were collected for review, and the rationalities of TCM injection use before and after the intervention were compared and analyzed. Results The reasonable rate of medical advice before intervention was 84.00%, and the reasonable rate after intervention was 96.00%, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=24.00, P<0.05). Among the 600 cases before and after intervention, ADR was a general adverse reaction, with 21 cases before intervention and 9 cases after intervention. The incidence of adverse reactions decreased from 7.00% to 3.00%. Conclusion Carrying out special reviews of TCM injections and formulating and implementing targeted intervention and management measures can significantly improve the level of rational use of TCM injections, reduce the incidence of ADR, effectively ensure the safety of patients, and promote rational drug use.
