Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of magnesium sulfate combined with budesonide and terbutaline on serum inflammatory factors in children with bronchiolitis. Methods Totally 80 inpatients with bronchiolitis were selected in a hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 according to the random number table method, and they were divided into a control group and a trial group, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were used dexamethasone combined budesonide and terbutaline, and the patients in trial group received magnesium sulfate on the basis of control group's treatment. The therapeutic effects, inflammatory factor levels and lung function were compared between two groups. Results After the treatment, in the trial group, the average level of leymesin-6 (IL-6) was (60.32±6.11) pg/mL, the level of procalcitonin (PCT) was (0.80±0.26) μg/L, the level of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) was (1.56±0.54) ng/mL, and the level of C-reactive protein (CRP) was (5.02±0.41) mg/L, which were lower than those in the control group . After the treatment, in the trial group, the respiratory rate (RR) was (28.65±4.32) sub/min, effective respiratory resistance (Reff) was (2.98±1.17) kPa/(L/S), and functional residual gas (FRC) was (134.85±35.41) ml, which were lower than those in the control group . After the treatment, in the trial group, the tide volume (VT) was (7.04±1.05) ml/kg, which was higher than that in the control group . Conclusion The treatment of magnesium sulfate combined with budesonide and terbutaline can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of children with bronchiolitis, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, improve the lung function, and it is worthy of further promotion.
